Welcome to London!

We have featured some our favorite places and things to do - this list is simply a starting point if you need some inspiration!

  • Getting Around the City

There are many options for getting around London. Black cabs are easily accessible, either by flagging one off the street or from a taxi rank. Uber is always available. If you are a public transportation fiend, then London is your place as the tube and bus are the most normal modes of transportation. Sloane Square tube station is located by both hotels. CityMapper is a great app we recommend downloading for the weekend as it will tell you what is your best option of transport due to traffic.

  • Cash? Never Heard of It.

London, like most of the world, is essentially cash free! Apple Pay and tap-to-pay are widely accepted, and only a few places still resist the Amex. If you are old school (ahem, Wayne Wilbanks) and like to carry cash, your regular bank card will work at a major bank such as Barclay’s or Lloyd’s. You might just want to give them a heads up that you will be withdrawing money abroad.

  • Weather...

As we all know, London is not known for it’s outstanding weather. April is a very difficult month to predict weather-wise, so we recommend checking the weather on the day you pack your bags. Forecasts are notorious for quickly changing here. While we will be providing all guests a personal umbrella, we also recommend being cautious of footwear while you’re out and about during the day in case it’s been raining. On the plus side, some of the most beautiful spring days occur in April, so let’s all keep our fingers crossed!
